“..you know what that is? ..growth.”
I noticed these spores when I first got here, back in April. I assumed that my allergies would go haywire, so I got smart about it — decided to check on them every once in a while. ..can't watch water boil anyway…
Stepping into October I have taken pictures of their growth each time I've observed their progress. What caught my heart is that as long as there is life left in you, you can keep going. It took a spore, on a swing set of dead wood, five months to develop its own thriving colony. ..I swear to you there's a lesson there if only you could hear it.. 🤦🏾♀️ lol. It noticed it was alive still and became determined to thrive, not just “survive”. Survival is where the spore was, singularly. Thriving is the colony you see having developed.
Adaptation. Determination. Evolution.
